Piko Taro's Rise to Fame

I'm sure we all know this familiar face:
However, I don't think we know much about him. Everyone, this is Kazuhito Kosaka (古坂和仁), better known as Daimaou Kosaka (古坂大魔王) and Pikotaro (ピコ太郎) (as seen in the Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen video). He is a 43 year-old Japanese comedian with impeccable fashion sense, and we are all happy for him and his rise to fame world-wide.
見てください、he even got a whole choir to sing with him! What?!
I personally find this ridiculous (and kind of well done actually lol). By the way, he released a second single, portraying his love for orange juice, shown below:
